For over 30 years, Urban continues to offer comprehensive waste disposal services to businesses throughout the D.C. Metropolitan Area. Our commitment to providing quality service to demanding, time-sensitive customers in commercial enterprises, as well as federal and local government, has earned us the respect of the community. We have received outstanding service awards from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Amtrak, and have been named the "Service Company of the Year" by the District of Columbia Government.

Across the board, Urban operates as a business that is trustworthy, dependable, responsible and accountable. Our family is our fleet of trucks and containers, which are state-of-the-art, receive regular maintenance, and exceed safety and performance requirements. Consistent operational performance is made possible through our team of highly trained and qualified drivers and operators. We are on the roads and in the community every day to represent our city and respect its beauty and history.

Urban’s headquarters is located at 212 Van Buren Street, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20012, on approximately 2-˝ acres. The main terminal facility includes administrative offices, maintenance and servicing center, equipment repair shop and a dispatch division.
